As his condition progressed, he relied on others to help him enjoy outdoor activities, often struggling to find outfitters who could accommodate his needs. That changed when he discovered Disabled Outdoorsmen, an organization dedicated to making the outdoors accessible to all. In 2024, George was selected for a Whitetail hunt at Triple Drop Ranch in South Texas. With the support of the DOUSA team and ranch staff, he had an unforgettable experience and harvested a beautiful 8-point buck.
